I will stick with CS4 and cut further ties with all Adobe products. I can get along just fine without them. I have no intention of supporting these new subscription software models or their price gouging schemes. Well, I guess Adobe doesn’t need any more of my money. I think I like the darker interface better from these screenshots. Lot of big changes going to be interesting to see how it works out in the end. CS 5 (released in 2010) and CS5.5 (released in 2011) are available for upgrade to CS6 in 2012. If that is the case, if you upgrade to CS6 but not CS6.5 in 2013, you'll still be eligible for CS7 in 2014. For what it's worth, I tend to take the same approach as you - skipping the .5 upgrades and going with only the full version upgrades. For that reason, the subscription plan simply makes no sense. It is currently about USD$650 to upgrade from CS4 Design Premium to CS5.5 Design Premium for North America, but for Australia it is AUD$1000+... we have been in the dollar for dollar range for a year or so now which makes that price difference rather annoying.
