Google Maps plugin for OSX Address Book

The Google Maps Plugin, by Brian Toth, is the easiest way to find your Address Book contacts using Google Maps and Google Earth. The plugin for Apple's Address Book application easily installs and adds the ability to right click on a contact address and choose to get directions or view a map of the location.

Google Maps Plugin, version 2.6.3, is a 291 KB download and requires OSX 10.3.9 or higher, including 10.5.5. The plugin is old, but still works perfectly!

Ummm

...you can do this in address book without a plug-in.

Really?

All I see is "Map of." This plugin offers driving directions, the map of (same as built-in), Google Earth views, allows you add the contact's phone numbers to the map, etc. Have you tried the plugin? I think you'll find it does a bit more than the built-in feature.

Why?

I don't understand why you need a plugin for this. Whenever I select "Map of" my browser opens and goes directly to Google Maps.

Like I said above...

The plugin offers more than just a link to the basic map. And it does it for 10.3.9-10.5 users.

I have just downloaded the

I have just downloaded the google earth and it is working fine. My fried told me that the software takes a lot RAM usage after installation. I am a bit confused, is it true ?
