Retrieving lost passwords on your Mac

You probably know that there is an application called Keychain Access on your Mac OSX system. But did you know that you can reveal all the passwords stored in it?

Trying to load new software, keep being asked for my systems password in order for disk to load.........please help, as i don't know it

when you first got the machine. There's nothing I can really do to help you if you don't know it. You could reset the Root password, then alter the user password, but that's beyond the scope of this article.
