If you live in Phoenix, Arizona, you'll be happy to know that Arrowhead Mall is getting an Apple Retail Store some time in the near future.

I noticed the familiar large black wall with white Apple logo which was blocking out a fairly decent sized store front on the lower level of the mall.

Arrowhead Mall is situated off the 101 Freeway and Bell Road in Arrowhead Ranch, a high-income part of town. The mall itself is located in a very popular entertainment and shopping complex.

There was no notice of any kind indicating when the store would open, mall information booth workers had no clue either.

UPDATE: An anonymous reader has informed me that the store is planning a July 31st opening.
